The platform
SmartXSP
A
platform
normally
out
of
reach,
open
to
all
our
clients.
Creative production and automatic asset optimization, real-time reporting across more than fifty metrics, and a meta DSP whose targeting rivals the biggest players. One tool, whatever your profile.
One tool, three ways to use it
SmartXSP is the platform behind everything we do, and it adapts to your organization rather than the other way round. Whether you buy through our built-in meta DSP, traffic from your own ad server as a publisher, or operate from your own DSP as an agency or advertiser, you work in the same environment.
That matters more than it might seem. You don't switch tools depending on the channel, you don't consolidate reports by hand across several interfaces, and your teams only have one platform to master.
By profile
Your ad server, your DSP, or ours
The platform slots into your existing chain, or replaces it entirely if you prefer.
Publishers, from your ad server
You traffic our formats from your Google Ad Manager or your Equativ. SmartXSP is where you upload the assets, configure the formats and track performance, without changing your delivery chain.
Agencies and brands, from your DSP
You carry on with DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Adform or StackAdapt. SmartXSP produces the creatives, optimizes them and feeds back the measurement, alongside your buying tool.
Any profile, through our meta DSP
You don't have a DSP, or you would rather not run one. Our built-in meta DSP gives you a level of targeting and buying power your organization would not normally have access to.
Power normally reserved for the largest buyers
Getting access to a DSP like DV360 or The Trade Desk means meeting entry conditions most advertisers and independent agencies simply cannot: volume commitments, minimum spend, license costs, dedicated teams to train. The result is a two-speed market where targeting sophistication depends mostly on the size of the budget.
Our meta DSP exists to correct that imbalance. On certain targeting capabilities, we believe it goes further than DV360. And it's available with no setup fees, no monthly license and no minimum spend, including for a small organization.
Your assets, systematically optimized
The platform is first of all where you build your campaigns: uploading assets and deploying them in our exclusive formats, or in more standard ones such as IAB display, CTV or DOOH.
One principle never changes: we never traffic the file you give us as it is. Every asset is reprocessed to be as light and as well suited as possible. An image is converted to WebP and generated in more than seven different resolutions, so that each user is served exactly the resolution matching their screen, no more and no less.
With video we go further. On top of recompression and resizing, delivery happens through streaming: only the portion the user is likely to watch is actually transferred. The format loads faster, performance follows, and the campaign's carbon footprint goes down.
Creative processing
Real-time reporting, not a post mortem
This is the other benefit available to every client profile, without exception. Tracking reports update in real time, with impression and interaction charts readable down to the second, in a spirit close to what you already know from Google Analytics.
The reporting environment exposes more than fifty metrics. You'll find the traditional ones, impressions, viewable impressions, clicks, click-through rate, alongside metrics specific to our technology, such as consolidated attention time, overall or per user.
All of it is available by day, by creative when the campaign runs several, and site by site for every publisher that delivered the campaign. So you never discover at the end of a campaign that something wasn't working: you see it the same day, and you can fix it.
Reporting
What you see, whenever you want
An environment built to make calls during the campaign, and to produce client deliverables without manual rework.
Real time, to the second
Impression and interaction charts update continuously, readable down to the second. No consolidation delay to wait through before making a call.
More than 50 metrics
Impressions, viewable impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and more than fifty metrics in total, including consolidated attention time overall or per user, specific to our technology.
Three levels of granularity
Analysis by day, by creative when the campaign runs several, and site by site to understand precisely where performance is coming from.
Looker Studio connector
A dedicated plugin connects your Looker Studio reports straight to SmartXSP data. Your client deliverables stay in your own template, with no re-entry.
The platform in numbers
These figures give a sense of what the platform makes available, whatever the size of the organization using it.
No setup fees, no monthly license and no minimum spend to get access.
The meta DSP: buy fast, target precisely
Launching a campaign the same day isn't a theoretical claim. You click start, and delivery usually begins within twenty minutes, anywhere in the world. Conversely, if you need to stop urgently, pausing halts delivery in under ten minutes.
On targeting, the platform is organized around three complementary environments: the delivery context, the user's location, and user data. They combine freely within a single campaign.
Targeting 1 of 3
Contextual targeting
Four levels of control to decide where your brand appears, and above all where it doesn't.
Site whitelists and blacklists
Build lists of the sites you want to deliver on, or the ones you want to keep out. Control happens at domain level, as an inclusion or an exclusion.
Contextual content targeting
Go one level deeper and target the content hosting the ad rather than the site. You can deliver only on articles covering real estate, finance, or any other relevant subject area.
Sensitive keyword exclusion
Rule out keywords that are critical for your brand. A swimming pool manufacturer may be fairly open about placements while absolutely refusing to appear next to content mentioning a drowning. That keyword is then excluded from all media buying.
Sensitive categories switched off
Every content category considered sensitive can be switched off in a few clicks at campaign level, with no manual setup to rebuild each time.
Targeting 2 of 3
Geographic targeting
Two complementary mechanisms, from a whole country down to a few kilometres around a store.
Geographic locations
Define zones ranging from a small town to a whole country, via postcode, department and region. You add as many as you need, and the platform works out the overlaps between them.
Inclusion and exclusion
Each location works as an inclusion or an exclusion. A common use case is targeting the whole of France while excluding the Paris region, to reach only the rest of the country.
Geofencing from 1 to 800 km
Drop a GPS point and set a delivery radius between one and eight hundred kilometres around it. Useful for a store, an event, or a precise catchment area.
Unlimited combinations
Create as many geofencing points as you like, and combine them freely with geographic locations within a single campaign.
Targeting 3 of 3
User targeting
From classic socio-demographics to your own audiences, with strict separation of your data.
Socio-demographic
Target by gender, age, or the presence of children in the household, to tighten delivery around your core audience.
800,000 third-party segments, sorted by AI
More than 800,000 third-party segments are available. An AI helps you navigate them: from a simple prompt describing your audience, it extracts and suggests the segments that look most relevant.
First-party segments through tracking
By placing tracking on your site, we identify your visitors, but also precise behaviours: repeat visits to a product category, entry into a conversion funnel, or a completed purchase. Setup is free and handled by our teams.
Retargeting, lookalike and attribution
Your first-party segments open three uses: activating retargeting on those users, building lookalike audiences, and handling attribution to assess the campaign's real performance.
Customer match
Activate a customer or prospect segment by matching encrypted email addresses against validated cookies. A good way to start with a qualified audience from the very first campaign, without waiting for collection.
Strict separation of your data
Your first-party segments belong to you. They are never made available to other clients of the platform, under any circumstances.
Advanced features
Beyond targeting
A few settings that make a real difference to how a campaign is perceived.
Default frequency cap, adjustable in the platform
All our campaigns start with a cap of two impressions per day per user. It's a default setting, not an imposed limit: you adjust it freely in the platform. We start from that value because excessive repetition damages the brand as much as it tires the user.
Device type targeting
Restrict delivery to the device types you want to reach, so the campaign matches how your audience actually browses.
DCO, with support
Dynamic creative optimization adapts the message automatically according to context or audience. These campaigns need finer setup, so our teams always support you on implementing them.
This page only covers part of what the platform does. The simplest way in is to see it running on a real case.
